In 2010, the city of Nantes, France, will host the 1st University World Savate Championships.  This event will take place between 24th and 27th June 2010 and will bring together 250 athletes coming from 35 nations. Working with British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK, we have registered a team for this event.

To compete for Great Britain, you must be officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognised by the Department of Education in the UK, a national of the country (therefore hold a full 10 year UK passport), and be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st 2010. Former students who graduated in 2009 may also be eligible to compete.
