GBSF Instructor Training Programme

The following instructor grades are possible in Savate:
Initiateur
Moniteur
Professor

To train as a GBSF Instructor, you should be at least 18 years of age and hold a minimum grade of Red Glove. GBSF members should talk to their own club instructor about opportunities for training and development, in preparation for the Instructor Training Programme. For example, some GBSF clubs have class assistants who undertake a variety of roles, such as welcoming new students, organising club equipment or working with small groups - depending on age, savate experience and insurance cover.

Opportunities are available for kickboxing and martial arts instructors who wish to convert to savate. Contact GBSF President Ollie Batts for further information.
