The Great Britain Savate Federation is the Governing Body for Savate and associated arts in this country. It is affiliated to the Fédération Internationale de Savate, based in Paris. The GBSF promotes communication and co-operation between GB Savate clubs, and provides instructor training, as well as opportunities for interclub, national and international competition. |

 In 2010, the city of Nantes, France, will host the 1st University World Savate Championships. This event will take place between 24th and 27th June 2010 and will bring together 250 athletes coming from 35 nations. Working with British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK, we have registered a team for this event.

GBSF Canne de Combat Championships |

 The first GBSF Canne de Combat Championships were held in Cambridge in August 2009. The Leys School Sports Complex was an excellent venue, with good space and facilities, and even allowing us to mark-up the ring on their Sports Hall floor. |
